01/11/2006 BioDefense Appoints Commander David H. Smith USNR to its Board of Advisors 12/31/2005 BioDefense Corporation received a purchase order from the United Nations for its MailDefender® systems along with an associated maintenance contract. The machines will be used to kill biological pathogens in the mail to significantly increase its safety profiles for United Nations employees. Chairman Michael Lu commented "This important milestone now places BioDefense Corporation on an international stage to carry our mission of reducing the risk of an attack by terrorism or infections from mutating viruses." 09/02/2005 BioDefense Corporation received notification from Underwriter's Laboratories today that it is now authorized to use the (UL) mark. This was achieved after completing a battery of safety tests that are required as part of this important designation.
