BioDefense in Lexington, MA is looking for an individual to fill the newly created position of Marketing Specialist

Position summary:
BioDefense Corp. is looking for an individual with sound marketing, research and internet skills to support the marketing/sales team. This is an outstanding opportunity to kick off the candidate’s career with a growing, dynamic high-tech company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of company marketing and promotion material.
- Research and evaluate marketing opportunities, prospect accounts and contacts
- Responsible for updating marketing literature and maintain the website
- Assist trade show execution
- Support marketing and sales team on special projects

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferable with marketing/business concentration
- At least 2 years experience at an agency or in a marketing or sales dept.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly creative individual with excellent problem-solving, analytical, research skills
- Self-sufficient, highly motivated with desire to learn new skills
- Passionate self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Highly proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explore. Basic HTML and Photo Shop Experience highly desirable.
